Who is this course for: This course is intended for individuals seeking their first or second renewal or have not taken it before. If you have taken this course previously and are seeking a second or higher renewal, please view Ethical Foundations for Certified Peers seeking Renewal Level II or other Ethics courses from the library.

Course Description:

This course is designed to solidify your understanding of the core competencies, including the four domains of peer support, and deepen your knowledge of ethical principles and practices.

Through an interactive exploration of role drift, professional boundaries, and the Code of Ethics, you’ll gain tools to navigate complex situations with confidence and integrity. Strengthen your foundation in the essential principles of peer support and recovery coaching, and build your capacity to continue making a meaningful impact. Whether you’re seeking renewal or want to enhance your expertise, this course will empower you to thrive in your role and continue growing as a trusted recovery professional.

Course Objectives:

  • Review and reinforce the four core domains of peer support

The ARC is community transitional recovery housing dedicated to people who have gone through an addiction treatment program.  ARC’s core program is a combination of a sober community, 12-Step participation, relapse prevention, secure employment, and creating goal plans.

The Addiction Recovery Coalition (ARC) is part of an addiction recovery network partnering with businesses and community organizations to collectively develop innovative recovery solutions for people striving for recovery.
